It takes about 4 hours to go uplake on the Lady ~ she's a slow boat
Lake Chelan is a 55 mile long boater's paradise
No cellphones, no telephones, no internet ~just smoke signals for communication (or snail mail)
Just a couple of miles up the road from the landing you will find;Rainbow Falls...
...the world's Largest Picnic Table...
...a one-room schoolhouse...
...and the Shuttle bus that will take you anywhere you'd like.(there are very few roads here, tho)
There's a famous bakery here you won't want to miss...
This is the end (of the lake).Stehekin is beautiful and very remote
Who needs phones when you've got ICE CREAM ?
What's quicker than a boat ride back? A Beaver?
