Gone to Oregon

We had a great place to stay for a long weekend--
in SEASIDE, OREGON- the WorldMark Resort
(I found a nice rock for my "collection")

Just a little further down the coast is worth a visit--
CANNON BEACH with it's famous "Haystack Rock"
(this beach was named for a cannon that washed up on it!)

It was breezy, but walking on this sand is easy

We moooo-ved on down the coast and visited TILLAMOOK--

Their Cheese and Ice Cream is the Best in the West!

"Don't eat too much cheese or you'll keel over"

Daddy said; "Look, they have Ice Cream for sail"

I never miss a chance to play in the sand
with pals and their pails--

We visited with some old Pals, and made some new friends, too!

We love the sand, the surf, the salty ocean--

But don't forget the Saltwater Taffy, right Mom?
