Welcome to Lake Quinault !

We had a great weekend in the Olympic National Park and Forest--

Grandpa Bob & Grandma Pat were there to greet us--

You have to watch your step if you're going down to the lake---

Lake Quinault is C-O-L-D ! (Rainier doesn't mind)

We watched Grandpa burn driftwood from the upper deck--

I had fun with Rainier (he belongs to Uncle Brian and Auntie Alea)

Dads & Dogs on Deck !

Time for a hike in the Valley of the Giants Rain forest--
right across the road !

We found the World's biggest Western Red Cedar tree--

You can even go inside of it !

If you look up you can see the light (and water drops)

We took a different hike to see July Creek--

It's a great spot for a picnic!
